Charles Elliott
Partner and Portfolio Manager
Charles has worked on Emerging Growth investments (over 80% being Technology-related) for more than 30 years, as sell-side analyst, investor, and fund manager. His career included 12 years in Japan covering electronics during its growth era, and pan-European work on software and semiconductors. Previous employers included Goldman Sachs & Mercury Asset Management (now BlackRock). He co-founded Inflection Point Investments in 2007 with Sasha Karim. Charles’ main expertise is in identifying little-known new growth companies which ‘multi-bag’. He directly experienced what it was like to work through some of history’s largest investment bubbles (e.g. Japan 1984-1989, Internet 1998-2000) and their subsequent busts – which he survived by applying tough valuation criteria.
